Somatic Experiencing works by partnering with your body's natural healing intelligence, helping your nervous system complete old stress responses that got stuck.

​Your nervous system is constantly scanning: "Am I safe?" In SE sessions, we slow down to notice subtle signals - held breath, clenched muscles, racing heart - and gently guide them toward release. This isn't about forcing change; it's about creating safety so your body can shift on its own, moving from protection mode (fight, flight, freeze) back to rest and connection.
